Photograph Collection
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is fortunate to be the custodian of photo albums from the late 19th to the mid 20th century. These historic albums reveal a candid perspective of life both within the hospital and throughout Melbourne.
The photographs you are viewing have been catalogued by RCH Volunteers – without their dedication, enthusiasm and countless hours of work these photographs would not be online. Thank you to all who have helped make this project possible.
We begin our online photograph collection with these personal albums, as a tribute to the hard working staff who supported the hospital through the early years.
