Staff Nurse Marion Marjorie Cunningham donated three photographic albums to the hospital archives, along with a selection of other items from her nursing days during the 1940s at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Nurse Cunningham’s albums depict the daily lives of nurses in training; including exams, living quarters, fĂȘtes, and leisure activities.

The inside front cover of this album has a book plate attached with photo corners and a handwritten note reads “This book is being lent in aid of the Comfort Fund (crossed out and replaced by) A.N.C.M. People desiring to borrow it are requested to donate the small sum of 6′ (or over). Please hand the money to owner M. M. Cunningham. Time Limit 3 DAYS.
